*onna crawls up into bed, gathers danglemate into arms, tucks danglemate' head under her chin and curls body around her*

S'okay, dearling, you just rest here and keep warm.

*Begins low purr, stroking danglemate's back soothingly*

*Sage crawls up and tucks himself between the two, right about their bellies, curling up and resting his head on onna's hip and wrapping tail around his mum's thigh lovingly. onna reaches down and strokes his flame gently*

*Miju parks himself behind danglemate, getting gathered into onna's arms in the process, pressing against danglemate's back, nuzzling back of her neck and draping a graceful arm over her waist*

Sleep now, we will protect you.

*Pulls up covers around various shoulders, then quiet breathing and soft purrs are the only sounds heard, except for an occasional snore-snort out of the chibi because of his position on two tummies*

Sage: Pullleeese, can I poke her, please please?

*no one stirs from their position peering over the edge of the mattress, eyes continue blinking*

Don't worry about the little something right now, pet. The boyz have been delightful during my illness, thanks for sending them over! It is more important to have dollars to feed, clothe and otherwise take care of your family right now, especially with the recent events you've been through.

*nuzzles d'mate's neck while purring softly*

Yep, the view IS pretty up here in the lemon tree and no, we cannot see the bower from here because of both distance and the foliage blocking the view at that angle. It does not mean we cannot hear certain sounds if the wind is blowing just right and the pitches are within our hearing range. We just crank up the anime when that happens.

Nothing wrong with a bit of boo-hoo, danglemate. We got our Yu Yu DVD collection in the mail today and I got all choked up and drippy during the first ep when the little boy Yusuke saves comes to Yusuke's 'wake' with his mom. We just even more hyper-sensitive right now.

Thought I'd send a couple of pics to put on my blog since I've been down on him so much...*grins* Both are him as a new Daddy, rhys08 is one of the very best pictures of Rhys. He's just about two days old there, one of my favorite pictures of all time. You can see his old soul...I miss him.

The second is with Ripley, he's fingerfeeding her. She had a poor latch and a disorgnized suck and we fingerfed her in order to get her on the breast eventually. It worked, but every feeding was a marathon session. Try and get her on the breast, if it worked GREAT!!! But usually it didn't, bring out the fingerfeeder, feed the baby, burp the baby, then the fun part, bring out the pump!!! Pump for twenty minutes and be ready to do it again in about forty minutes!!! *grins* But it was worth it, and Jim was terrific. I was so glad he took three weeks of Family Leave to be with us!!! (note...Ripley is STILL nursing...looks like we'll be making it to her third birthday!!! I still feel smug when I hear about other mom's troubles with breastfeeding and why they gave it up...)
